Our latest Snapshot Assessment Protocol (SnAP) toolkit has now been posted online! We encourage you to take a look and let us know what you think about it, and – ideally – to incorporate it into your research!
SnAP is a rapid assessment protocol for small-scale fisheries, with guidelines and templates for data collection and entry. It is a work in progress, with next steps to be guided by feedback from users. SnAP would be a valuable reference for students and researchers just starting to pursue research on small-scale and artisanal fisheries, and is part of the process toward coordinated collection of more standardized data.
